Director's Welcome

The St. Charles Athletic Program subscribes to the philosophy that sports and team participation are valuable ingredients for building mature and well rounded individuals. We actively participate in and support the Catholic Middle School Athletic Conference (CMAC) and are affiliated with the Catholic Youth League (CYL). Students in all grades are encouraged to participate in the sports programs offered at St. Charles.

CMAC is for students in 5th through 8th grade. A total of five sports and eighteen teams are offered:

Girls and Boys Basketball
Girls and Boys Soccer
Girls and Boys Volleyball
Girls and Boys Track
Girls Cheerleading

Students who choose to participate are expected to meet certain requirements which include: maintaining satisfactory grades, appropriate conduct, practicing good sportsmanship on and off the field, displaying respect for coaches/players, fostering team spirit and attending all practices/games.

CYL is offered for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We encourage all sports-minded parents and students to read about the various features offered by the Catholic Youth League. For schedules and questions about CYL click here.

It is the goal of the Athletic Program, through sports, to assist St. Charles School in fostering the development of the whole child. Students learn the value of teamwork, cooperation, discipline and respect through hard work on and off the field. If you have questions related to the CMAC sports program, contact David Ray, Athletic Director at dray@stcharles-orlando.org
