If, for example, you buy $100 worth of J.C. Penney gift cards (SCRIP), you still have your full $100 in SCRIP to spend at J.C. Penney on whatever you want, just like cash. Since our school bought the SCRIP for $95, J.C. Penney has, in essence, donated $5 to our school. SCRIP is a year round fundraiser that requires neither donating nor selling products door-to-door! |
